End-of-Life Policy Guidelines
- WatchGuard will provide End-of-Sale announcements to direct partners per agreements.
- The End-of-Life date will generally occur up to five (5) years after the End-of-Sale date.
- Prior to the End-of-Life date, WatchGuard may provide at its unilateral discretion, maintenance releases, patches, and/or hot fixes.
- LiveSecurity Service support contract renewals and Hardware Warranty Extensions will generally continue to be available until one (1) year prior to the End-of-Life date.
- Renewable security subscriptions will generally be available for purchase from reseller partners until one (1) year prior to the End-of-Life date. However, WatchGuard reserves the right to change security subscriptions (replacing a subscription service with a different, equivalent, service) at any time during the End-of-Sale to End-of-Life period.
- New subscription services may not always be compatible with WatchGuard products in their End-of-Life period or past End-of-Life.
- The Return Materials Authorization (RMA) process will continue until the End-of-Life date if the product is covered by a Hardware Warranty.
